StudyITI (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an education and
institute-management app operated by Indrashikha Education for ITI
(Industrial Training Institute) students, instructors and administrators, published under
the package id in.studyiti.app and available at
www.studyitiapp.com. This policy explains what
information the App handles and how.
1. Information we handle
- Profile & account information — name, role, email address, an optional mobile number, institute/admin association, batch, trade and year. Your email address is used to sign in and may be used for account notices or one-time password recovery codes.
- Student records — enrolment details, fees, exam attempts and results.
- On Job Training (OJT) records — company name, mentor name, mentor email and mobile number, registration/GST number, training dates and any document you upload.
- Documents — files you upload (e.g. certificates, OJT documents).
- Payment and institute-fee records — amounts, dates, modes and transaction references recorded by your institute. The Google Play version does not collect payments. When an authorised payment is made on the StudyITI website, our payment partner Razorpay handles card/UPI data under its own privacy policy. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Safety reports — the content or user being reported, the reason for the report and the reporting account’s user ID.
2. Where your data is stored
The App works offline and keeps a copy of your records and uploaded documents on your device. So your institute’s data stays consistent across your devices, it is also securely synced to our cloud database hosted on Microsoft Azure. Payment transactions are processed by Razorpay and confirmed through our secure payment server. When an instructor asks StudyITI to generate a quiz from uploaded material, selected document-page images are processed by a hosted AI model through Microsoft Azure/GitHub Models solely to generate that quiz. We do not sell your data.
3. How we use information
- To provide institute management, exam preparation and OJT features.
- To process fee payments through Razorpay.
- To provide account notices and help you recover your password, including by sending one-time codes to your email when needed.
- To let authorised administrators and instructors of your institute view and download records and documents that belong to their students.
- To review reported content or users, remove objectionable material and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with:
- Razorpay, to process payments you initiate.
- Microsoft Azure, our cloud hosting and email-delivery provider, which stores and processes data on our behalf to run the App and send verification emails (it does not use your data for its own purposes).
- The administrators/instructors of your own institute, who can view and download records and documents of their students (a core function of the App).
5. Children
The App is intended for ITI students (generally 16+), instructors and institute staff. It is not directed at children under 13.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept on your device and in our cloud database while your account is active. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes the local copy. To delete your account and associated cloud records, use the in-app “Delete My Account” option or follow the steps at www.studyitiapp.com/delete-account.html.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures and a secure (HTTPS) payment flow. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
